BIO

Why did I become a model? It's not the reason you might be thinking. It's not for the riches and fame, but to be a voice. There are a lot of young ladies these days undergoing bullying and emotional abuse. I was one of those young ladies, starting in elementary and it went through college and I even deal with some now. There were even moments as a kid that I wanted to end my own life because of what others thought of me. Having to deal with low-self esteem as a child was not fun, but I had a great friends who tried encouraging me every chance they got and I had a very strong mother who was always there for me.

So when I decided to pursue my career in modeling, I received so much support from friends and family. Of course, with trying to accomplish goals, there are always set-backs. Even with my set-backs, I have still been able to push through and move forward in my career. I can say, without the support of family and friends and my faith in God, I would not be where I am today. I continue to fight for my dream and you can tell through every photo and runway show.

This is not just for me, but for every person who has goals and aspirations. If I stop now, what might others who are watching do or say because I chose to stop? I want to be looked at as a role model, to let others know that you can truly do anything you set your mind to doing, but you can't do it alone and you can't be silent about it. Write the vision, throw ideas out to people you know will support you and watch them blossom into something great! Remember, faith without works is dead (James 2:17).
